HOW IS MY DISCOUNT APPLIED?

Shop BrooklynBedding.com or any of our Brooklyn Bedding stores, select your products, then verify your eligibility during the shopping process using the appropriate First Responders discount button on the checkout page. Once your eligibility is confirmed, the 30% discount will automatically apply to your entire shopping cart.

HOW DO I VERIFY MY STATUS TO RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT?

If not instantly verified, ID.me will compare the information provided in the uploaded document(s) against the information entered in the verification form. To ensure a speedy and successful verification, please pay attention to how you enter your information on the form so that it will match what is seen on the document(s). For example, enter your first and last name on the form as it appears on your official document(s).

WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENT(S) DO I UPLOAD IF ASKED?

You’ll need to upload official documentation that shows your:

• First name
• Last name
• Organization name
• Status as an active first responder

We understand that your document may only include the name of your governing body or financial district, rather than the organization name where you work. You can upload multiple documents through our interface, so if you can upload a second document establishing your organization membership, that will help the verification process go smoothly. Please be sure to redact any details not needed for identification purposes.

I JUST UPLOADED A DOCUMENT. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF MY REQUEST?

Documents are reviewed in the order received. You will be contacted via email within the next 20 minutes with additional details regarding your verification request. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see an email in your inbox. The email will let you know if you’ve been successfully verified or if additional information is needed to complete your verification.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T PROVE I’M A FIRST RESPONDER?

This is extremely rare for first responders who are active. All jurisdictions provide some kind of official document that is acceptable to ID.me. In the event you cannot provide us any acceptable proof of validation, we will be unable to approve eligibility.

HOW DO I KNOW YOU WON’T SELL OR SHARE MY ID AND INFORMATION?

IS THE FIRST RESPONDERS DISCOUNT AVAILABLE IN BROOKLYN BEDDING STORES AS WELL AS ONLINE?

Yes, the First Responders discount is applied at checkout when shopping in our showrooms. For security and privacy reasons, Brooklyn Bedding stores can only verify first responders identification documents in person at an authorized retail store. You may present your credentials at the time of purchase, or work with an in-store associate to digitally verify your eligibility using ID.me.

CAN I COMBINE THE FIRST RESPONDERS DISCOUNT WITH ANY OTHER OFFER?

The First Responders discount cannot be combined with any other promotional codes and cannot be applied to gift card purchases.
