What cooling features are available for the CopperFlex® Essential?

The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is constructed with a top layer of copper-infused memory foam, which delivers added cooling. In addition, open cell technology in each foam layer provides increased airflow and breathability.

What is the height of the CopperFlex® Essential?

The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is available in five different heights (6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch, and 14 inch). An illustration of the mattress with details for each layer is found on the product page, along with a full product description.

How much does the CopperFlex Essential weigh and what are it's dimensions?

The weight of the mattress and its dimensions vary by selection. The CopperFlex Essential mattress weighs between 25-125 pounds. Dimensions for mattress sizes can be found in the graphic here:

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

This product is made in America using foreign and domestic components.

How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding here.

What is the firmness level on the CopperFlex® Essential?

The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is designed with variable features, including height, that allow you to choose your comfort and firmness levels as well as desired profile. The 6” and 8” mattresses are respectively firm and firm-medium, recommended only for those who desire a more supportive sleep experience—such as stomach or back sleepers—or have bed profile limitations such as bunkbeds. The 10” version is a medium-firm, suited for those who are combination back, stomach and side sleepers. If you’re an adult, looking for added comfort, contouring and support, the 12” and 14” versions are recommended.

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. How does the 120-night trial period work?

If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return. 

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

"I hated the mattress in our camper. We have a Murphy bed and the Murphy mattress was terribly uncomfortable. The fold in it hit at just the wrong apot and we felt it all night. I hated it. So I started researching mattresses and found some people had this copper flex mattress and used it successfully in a Murphy bed- that it folded up without the annoying construction of a typical Murphy mattress. I bit the bullet and ordered one and am so happy I did!!! So comfortable!!! We got the 8 inch and it folds into our bed when it’s not in use without any problems!! I couldn’t be happier with it!! "We are loving our new RV mattresses! They are a huge improvement over the old mattresses that came with the RV. We are side sleepers and our hips would weigh against the hard wood underneath the mattress causing hip pain. With the new RV mattresses that simply does not happen. Best sleep ever

"We have a travel trailer that we had put a regular queen mattress on it. After 2 years of it being too long and too uncomfortable we decided to give a Brooklyn Bedding mattress a try. The only question I have is Why didn't we do this sooner! It's so comfortable. I bought two 30x80 mattresses.

"I bought two 30x80 mattresses. I had to wait 11 days before opening the vacuum sealed packaging, so one of the mattresses didn't quite expand like the other after 3 days like I was hoping. It feels a little softer than the other. But it's ok, they're both still very comfortable and work well for the couches I'm building. So I will advise to open the vacuum seal ASAP and just find a place to store them if need be."
