We are using it on the extra firm side and are happy, although might flip it over just to try the other side! So far so good, we are pleased with the mattress."

"It's a nice bed overall, but unfortunately it was not as firm as I was expecting. It is firmer than most on the market I will say, but less so than what I was hoping to experience. The outer 25% of the mattress seem to be the firmer sections, I just wish it was as firm throughout, especially in the middle. I have a steel frame with no bowing or bending in it, so unfortunately I don't believe there is a remedy for the firming issue. I recently bought a couch off of Amazon, at the same time I purchased the Luxe. The couch is the firmest piece of furniture I have ever sat or laid down on, and now I am pondering returning the Luxe and purchasing another couch to convert into a bed. The couch is what I hoped my Plank would feel like. I suppose I prefer an absurd amount of firmness, however. Maybe its just me."
"This mattress is great for people that likes memory foam. I got the 75% firm. I should have gotten the 100% firm. But my body is not in pain after sleeping on it. The box that it was delivered in looked like someone played kickball with it for a few weeks. Thankfully the mattress was in great condition. The height is high for us height called people but I could tell from the pic, so I planned correctly for it."

I took off 1 star because after puffing up it actually is a tiny bit bigger than spec, which makes it look a little awkward on my low slung platform bed.
