Frequently Asked Questions

What is the height of the CopperFlex® RV Hybrid?

The CopperFlex® RV Hybrid is available in 3 heights: 10", 12" and 14" tall.

How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding here.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

Where is this product made?

This product is made in America using foreign and domestic components.

What are the benefits of CopperFlex® memory foam?

Copper-infused foam offers several benefits for a better night’s sleep. The infusion of copper helps regulate temperature, keeping the mattress cooler while you sleep. Additionally, copper has natural antimicrobial properties, which can help reduce the growth of bacteria and allergens, promoting a healthier sleeping environment. It offers excellent pressure point relief which can lead to reduced aches and pains. Overall, CopperFlex® Memory Foam foam offers benefits for a more restorative sleep experience.

How much does the CopperFlex® RV Hybrid weigh and what are its dimensions?

The weight of the mattress and its dimensions vary by selection. The CopperFlex® RV Hybrid weighs between 55-120 pounds. Dimensions for mattress sizes can be found in the graphic here:

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. If you need a foundation for your new mattress, check out our foundations specifically designed for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses here.

Reviews

Great addition to our camper

"Finally decided to upgrade our sleep options and settled on the CopperFlex RV Hybrid. It was a great choice and has been an excellent decision so far. We’ve only used it a couple of weeks but we’re wondering why we didn’t do this sooner! We can go to bed and not dread sleeping on the old rv mattress (if you can call it a mattress) and actually wake up without the usual aches and pains from the old mattress. Also, the price was great and delivery was fast. We highly recommend the CopperFlex RV Hybrid mattress."

— MARY-JANE O. (5/5)

King to Queen

"We changed the bed in our motorhome from a king to a queen to get more room around the sides of the bed. I had heard a lot about Brooklyn bedding mattresses for rv's, so I picked the one that fit our situation. Now, after a couple of extended trips I can say we are very happy with the choice we made. It was delivered to our door, fit perfectly, and is very comfortable."

— John N. (5/5)

RV King is great

"We replaced the mattress that came with our 5th wheel with the CopperFlex Hybrid and are very pleased. So much better having a real mattress and I had my first uninterrupted night of sleep ever in the camper. It does add a bit of height, but is well worth the purchase."

— Marcia P. (4/5)

It was really great after back surgery.

"I had an L4-L5 and L5-S1 ALIF on August 5th. 8 thought I could get by sleeping on my RV couch or the bed, after a few weeks (which required me to climb up the few steps to the bed above the 5th wheel), but it made me miserable. The Copper flex mattress really helped in the first few weeks, but now I'm having pain in my upper back. I do not blame the mattress, I think the problem has been there in my back for a while, but the VA and the Neurosurgeon have been so focused on my lower back, that they didn't see there's a problem with my upper back. I still sleep better on my mattress than anywhere else and I wish I had ordered this mattress sooner. FYI, I sleep somewhere between my side and stomach (the recovery position, for those who know) and this is the best mattress I've ever had for that since I first first my back, over 13 years ago. I recommend you buy this mattress, even if you don't like it, there's a generous return policy."

— Zachary R. (4/5)

So Comfortable

"Amazing from Night One. I can’t believe how comfortable this mattress is. We ordered it for our travel trailer and we both love it. It is firm, but not too firm. I have a lot of environmental allergies and this mattress never offgassed anything that bothered me. Awesome."

— Linda S. (5/5)

Comfort mattress

"We bought this Mattress to replace the factory Mattress that came with our Trailer. It was a king size and my wife and I both ended up in the middle as it was very unsupported. We have enjoyed our new Mattress very much. We did use a 3" memory foam as a topper so I don't know what it would have felt like without it. However the support is great. Very happy with it and believe it will last for a very long time. Probably will never need replacement."

— Robert S. (5/5)

Great mattress!

"This is our second mattress Purchase from BB We love the one in are motor home and needed a new one for home. It was an easy decision to buy one from BB. We continue to recommend your mattress to others."

— Lineli C. (5/5)

BB Short Queen CopperFlex

"Shipment and packaging was excellent. Mattress was clean and well packed. There was no packing information or instructions included. I had to look at YouTube for installation instructions. Including a tag that makes the direction of placing the mattress in the RV would be helpful (mattress side up, head and/or foot markings). The mattress is difficult to flip over once unwrapped."

— Sandra W. (5/5)

"I can’t believe that this amazing mattress coming in a box. Best thing I’ve purchased for our camper!"

— Heidi (5/5)

New mattress

"Great mattress so far was only able to use it once this season. We bought it very late in the season for camping"

— Sandy J. (5/5)
